REJN members are organizations of housekeepers, contingent employees, poultry processors, day laborers, farmworkers and small farmers, sanitation and other public service workers, injured workers, welfare recipients, youth, parents, residents of contaminated communities and individual activists.   The majority are working-class people of color and women.  25% are youth.
